In June 2025, we rebranded this spot into LouTony’s Italian Kitchen — a cool, everyday Italian bistro built around pressed paninis, fresh salads, and catering that shows up. Run by two partners and a team that treats Merrick like family.
The Partners
First cousins, partners. Lou Neglia and Anthony St. George run two concepts side by side on Merrick Road — LouTony’s at 2010, and Tony & Luigi’s right next door at 2008. LouTony’s is the everyday one: fast, fresh, and built for the lunch rush, the delivery run, and the catering order.
Same family. Same standards. A different kind of Italian.

When we opened the doors as LouTony’s, Merrick showed up — and so did Nassau County, with a ribbon cutting and official citation marking the occasion.
